HISTORY & MISSION
GCF began in 2008 when Father Alphonse Gollapalli was a visiting priest at our community Catholic church, St. Joseph's of Norman, Oklahoma.
Fr. Alphonse serves women and families in the poorest regions of Andrah Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. In 2008, he partnered with a newly-forming GCF the address the basic needs of many communities in India, because food, clean water, and education are in crisis in the areas he lives and works.
Every year for the past 11 years, GCF has visited Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to connect with our sister communites, helping them develop and manage sustainable projects to
serve their most pressing needs.
GCF works to end the cycle of poverty and raise the standard of living by fostering community development, promoting income generating projects, and providing educational support by partnering with communities in Southeast India and throughout the world
